Eva Alordiah replies Lady who called her "Lord of the Rings"

Eva Alordiah replies Lady who called her “Lord of the Rings” for not getting married yet, after over 1 year of engagement.

Eva Alordiah has taken out time to write to a girl who called her “lord of the rings” because she hasn’t married, over a year after getting engaged.

Her posts reads:
“How can you, with all humanness in you say “This guy has no Shame, since 2015 he proposed and no wedding, Is she Lord of the Rings?” I read that comment from @princessnwaroh and felt deeply insulted. That was a weak attempt at comedy if she was trying to be funny.

It is my ring.

If a wedding happens, it would be my wedding.

Have you wondered if the girl in question is ready for Marriage? So because I am engaged I must marry?
It is my engagement, it is only a promise of loyalty between two people. If I decide I am going to hold the Record for longest engagement ever, I’d hold it. How does that have anything to do with shame for any man? For my man?

Last night, I learned how the words people use with us can influence us to several different types of actions. That hateful comment of hers made me type back to her “Shut Your face before you make yourself look ugly online. Ain’t cute for a cute girl like you.” Am I proud of myself when I see that comment next to my name? No, not really. Tit for tat never makes the love go round. But at the time of my writing that, I just really wanted to shut her face. *sigh*

We have spent many years degrading and berating our Women for not marrying early, then the woman gets engaged and you chew the man for not marrying her sharp sharp.

How is this supposed to end?

I was a girl just yesterday. I am learning to become a woman. And I have the most supportive human being in King Caesar holding my hand as I learn these ropes.

Now that’s outta the way, I just wanna say, “I want to have kids, I wish I had one at 19. I want to have a family as beautiful and full of Live as the one my Parents have created for us. I want to marry my best friend when I do finally accept the time. Until then, I WILL PROTECT MY POWER TO CHOOSE FOR MYSELF WHEN I AM READY TO GET MARRIED. And if I don’t get married, that’s still me exercising my right to choose.

Oh and just an offside, he proposed in 2016 and I still cannot believe he did!”

How Jim Obazee vowed to remove Pastor Enoch Adeboye

- RCCG has disclosed that sacked FRC boss Jim Obazee vowed to remove Pastor Enoch Adeboye

- Obazee, who was a zonal pastor with RCCG, refused at a time to honour Pastor Adeboye’s summons over alleged violations

- The reportedly led to his removal as zonal pastor

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) on Thursday, January 12 disclosed that the sacked Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) of Nigeria, Jim Obazee, had vowed to remove the General Overseer of the church, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

This was disclosed by Pastor Segun Adegbiji, the head of the church’s media and public relations.

According to Adegbiji, Obazee was a zonal pastor with RCCG but refused at a time to honour Pastor Adeboye’s summons over alleged violations, Vanguard reports.

Adegbiji said that when Pastor Adeboye noticed some violations and sent for Obazee, the ex-FRC boss immediately replied that he was in his office and if Pastor Adeboye really wanted to see him, he knew where to reach him.

It was gathered that Obazee had allegedly refused to suspend the implementation of the FRC regulation that requires heads of all registered churches, mosques and other non-profit organisations to serve a maximum of 20 years in office and thereafter hand over to someone from outside their families.

Pastor Adegbiji further said that the recent changes announced by Pastor Adeboye, last week, were informed by the provisions of the FRC Act.

However, the pastor noted that the General Overseer does nothing without consulting God.

According to him, “God may have decided to carry out the reforms for a purpose though such appointments were not new to a growing church like RCCG which has branches in 192 nations of the world.

“The newly appointed country overseer, Pastor Joseph Obayemi may remain the overseer in charge of Nigeria operating from his current regional headquarters in Somolu in Lagos.

“The national headquarters of the church remains in Ebute Metta, Lagos, while the global headquarters is at the Redemption Camp, but the new country overseer, Pastor Obayemi may not immediately move to the Ebute Metta headquarters because it will be administratively inconvenient for him to operate from the headquarters of another region.”

He corrected the impression that the General Overseer, Pastor Adeboye had resigned and appointed a successor, saying: “The General Overseer has not stepped down. He is still the General Overseer of the church and the announcement has not diminished his schedule across the globe.”

He also corrected the impression that the new national overseer was a Special Assistant to the General Overseer.

He said: “Pastor Obayemi, who will now oversee RCCG’s 28 regions in Nigeria, was one of the seven senior pastors promoted Assistant General Overseers and members of the Governing Council, during the 2016 convention of the church last August.

“Pastor Obayemi was a deputy in charge of Finance and a member of governing council in RCCG, before his appointment as the new Country/national Overseer of the church.”

Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari approved the immediate removal and the replacement of Obazeeas FRC boss three days ago.

With the sack of Obazee and the dissolution of the FRC Board, President Muhammadu Buhari may have temporarily saved the jobs of many prominent Pentecostal church leaders who have since passed the 20-year threshold.

The rave of the moment and Headies “Next Rated” act had earlier suggested that Nigerian music was greatly influenced by Ghanaian sound, a move Nigerian’s saw as very offensive.
According to him, “Ghana’s influence on present day “Naija Sound” cannot be over emphasized”.

TEKNO IN NEW YORK TO SIGN SONY DEAL

Triple MG lead act, Augustine Miles Kelechi, popularly known as Tekno, is currently in New York City to seal a record deal with Sony Music.
Label bosses, Ubi Franklin, and CEO Upfront and Personal, Paul Okoye, accompanied him on the trip.
This was made known in an Instagram video shared by Mr. Okoye. In the video, the trio are in high spirits and could be heard shouting, “We burn it, Sony Money, We burn it”.
The video was shot in front of the Trump Towers, in New York.
Although there are whispers that the deal is worth $4 million, critics believe that the figure may have been hyped considering the fact that most Nigerian artistes are known to exaggerate details of their endorsements and record deal.
The deal is also said to be worth much more than what Davido was offered over a year ago by Sony.
The “Pana” crooner who made major music headlines last year, began the preliminary stages of the deal but was not fully implemented.

Following Iyanya’s exit from Triple MG to Mavin Records, Ubi Franklin bought over Iyanya’s share of the company and sold it a portion of the shares to Mr. Okoye thereby making him a co-owner of the label.
Having had a great musical year in 2016 with great singles like
Pana , Diana , Where and Rara , the artiste appears set to dominate the industry in 2017.
The artiste is also set to release his highly anticipated “Half an Hour” album sometime this year.

LORD IF IT IS YOUR WILL, BREAK UP NIGERIA NOW- BISHOP OYEDEPO

The founder and presiding Bishop of the Faith Tabernacle, Bishop David Oyedepo has asked God to split Nigeria if it pleases Him.

The God’s general asked God to take the best decision that would be better for the troubled nation.

The Bishop during a ministration on Sunday in Otta, headquarters of  his ministry, reportedly rained down curses on those promoting the wanton killings in Southern part of Kaduna State.

Oyedepo in the message said that God sent him to this continent as His apostle of liberation to stop it from decadence.

He said, “Lord, if it is your will to break up Nigeria, break it now!”

Super Eagles now 50th in FIFA’s ranking, seventh in Africa

For the first time in recent years, the Super Eagles of Nigeria have broken into the top 50 in the latest rankings released yesterday by the world football governing body (FIFA).
The Coach Gernot Rohr-led Eagles had finished in the 51st position at the end of 2016, but moved a step upward on the latest table. Nigeria now has a total of 619 points as against the 616 in their last ranking. The Super Eagles have also moved up to the seventh position in Africa as against their eighth place in December 2016.
Nigeria’s best placing in the FIFA rankings was fifth, a position attained in 1994 following an impressive display of winning the Africa Cup of Nations and their debut World Cup appearance that year in the United States.
Senegal, with a total of 743 points, remains the highest ranked African national team. The Senegalese is ranked 33 in the world, above Cup of Nations titleholders, Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire (34), Egypt (35), Tunisia (36), Algeria (39), Congo DR (49) and Nigeria (50) in the latest rankings.
All the countries, except Nigeria are already in Gabon to challenge for the 2017 African Cup of Nations, which will begin tomorrow and end on February 5.The Super Eagles and their counterparts from Saudi Arabia were two new teams to have broken into the top 50 in the latest FIFA’s ranking. Saudi Arabia (48th, up 6), and Nigeria (50th, up 1) move up at the expense of Albania (51st, down 2) and Burkina Faso (53rd, down 3). Only 12 “A” matches were played since the final ranking of 2016.
The top 34 positions of the ranking table remain unchanged with Argentina, Brazil and Germany still holding first, second and third place respectively.
However, the January’s best performers, both in points and rankings, were Suriname (128th, up 22). But the biggest move notwithstanding, the northern South American team is still some distance from their best-ever position (84th), recorded back in 2008.
The small southern African nation of Swaziland, meanwhile, reached its best-ever position in the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking (99th, up 1).The next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be published on 9 February 2017.
