After people will say buy Naija to grow the Naira yet the naija is too mean to its own people. Abiodun Amos (aka Senti), the leader of a militant gang that was arrested for plotting to bomb the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos state, has disclosed that the federal government’s failure to consider he and his members for amnesty triggered their decision to cause havoc. Amos, who is one of the leaders of a notorious militant group operating in Ikorodu and Arepo areas of Lagos and Ogun states, planned to bomb the bridge end of last month before his arrest by the Inspector-General of Police Special Intelligence Response Team, led by Abba Kyari, an Assistant Commissioner of Police, frustrated its efforts.
Abiodun Amos says the federal government’s failure to consider he and his members for amnesty triggered their decision to bomb the 3rd mainland brid He said: “We went into bank robberies and kidnapping because we wanted to get government’s attention and all we wanted was for them to grant us amnesty and also offer us pipeline protection contract. “We have made several appeals but governme…

Falz love to work with Rihanna

I would love to work with Rihanna because I love her - Falz claps back at Simi Falz was recently interviewed, and he made some interesting revelations. The “Soft Work” crooner opened up on the American international music act he would love to collaborate with. Interestingly, the rapper and comedian happen to love Rihanna so much that he wants to collaborate with her. If you still remember, it’s not quite long since Falz alleged lover, Simi, came on board and declared her crush on American singer J.Cole.
Fanz had questioned Simi about why she is crushing on an American singer when she has Falz right here with her. In response to that, the “Jamb Question” crooner said she doesn’t mind losing Falz just to hook up with J.Cole. That statement was quite a humiliating one for Falz. And it is believed that the singer is now declaring his love for Rihanna in an effort to clap back at Simi for choosing J.Cole over him.
However, the singer only declared in an interview with HipTV that he would …

Phyno hangs out with his mother, sister, and brother

When we celebrate our celebrities, we sometimes forget that they come from families who nurtured them and cared for them all through their childhood days till they became public figures. We most times overrate our celebrities, idolize them, and unconsciously push them into assuming god-like roles that would require them to do something they originally are not wired to do, as well as forgo those they would actually love to do.
Some celebrities, in a bid to please fans, have disconnected from family and loved once. Some even go as far as offering parents and loved once as a sacrifice to soar high and be top rated celebrities. Check the likes of the American singers who belong to the acclaimed “Illuminati,” who are alleged to make sacrifices from time to time in order to remain highly revered celebrities. Most of this sacrifices are said to be humans; family, to be more precise.
But down here in Nigeria, that is hardly an option. Our celebrities over here get drawn away from their famil…

Dangote Lost $4.9 Billion in 2016

The President of Dangote Group and Africa’s richest person, Alhaji Aliko Dangote lost $4.9 billion or one-third of his wealth, as the combined effect of falling oil prices and the naira devaluation in June pushed him to the 112th richest person in the world with a net worth of $10.4 billion, the latest Bloomberg Billionaires’ Index released yesterday has revealed. According to the index, Dangote was the world’s 46th-richest person as of June this year.
However, the report pointed that in a year when populist voters reshaped power and politics across Europe and the United States, the world’s wealthiest people were ending 2016 with $237 billion more than they had at the start. Triggered by disappointing economic data from China at the beginning, the U.K.’s vote to leave the European Union in the middle and the election of billionaire Donald Trump at the end, the biggest fortunes on the planet whipsawed through $4.8 trillion of daily net worth gains and losses during the year, rising 5.7…

Iheanacho Makes Premier League History

Kelechi Iheanacho’s second half strike for Manchester City in the 3-0 win over Hull City in a Premier League game on December 26 was significant for many reasons. First, it gave City the needed momentum and ‘breathing space’ to finally overpower a plucky Hull City side that looked more than capable of coming back into the game. More poignantly, from a statistician’s perspective, it meant Iheanacho has now achieved what no one has ever done in Premier League history. According to, that goal at the KCOM Stadium makes the Super Eagles attacker the player with the best goals-to-minutes ratio of any other in the League’s history. Iheanacho is now the most prolific footballer in Premier League history.
The former Golden Eaglet is now scoring a goal every 96 minutes in the Premier League – the best goal ratio for any player with 10 or more in the league’s history. His accomplishment means he dwarfs stellar and storied names like Sergio Aguero, Thierry Henry, Cristiano Ronaldo,…

BREAKING: Boko Haram leader Shekau surfaces in new video, denies fall of Sambisa

The Guardian is reporting that Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau has appeared in a new video to deny claims that the insurgent group has been crushed and flushed out of its Sambisa forest stronghold. The Boko Haram leader, who was flanked in his usual style by armed fighters, denied defeat of the insurgent group.
Shekau says in a new video that reports of Sambisa's fall were totally untrue. “We are safe. We have not been flushed out of anywhere. And tactics and strategies cannot reveal our location except if Allah wills by his decree,” The Guardian quoted Shekau as saying in the video which is said to last 25 minutes. “You should not be telling lies to the people,” he added before querying “If you indeed crushed us, how can you see me like this? How many times have you killed us in your bogus death?”
Shekau's denial comes just a day after the Nigerian Army briefed journalists in Maiduguri, Borno state capital about the way the military outfit led other…
