When we celebrate our celebrities, we sometimes forget that they come from families who nurtured them and cared for them all through their childhood days till they became public figures. We most times overrate our celebrities, idolize them, and unconsciously push them into assuming god-like roles that would require them to do something they originally are not wired to do, as well as forgo those they would actually love to do.
Some celebrities, in a bid to please fans, have disconnected from family and loved once. Some even go as far as offering parents and loved once as a sacrifice to soar high and be top rated celebrities. Check the likes of the American singers who belong to the acclaimed “Illuminati,” who are alleged to make sacrifices from time to time in order to remain highly revered celebrities. Most of this sacrifices are said to be humans; family, to be more precise.
But down here in Nigeria, that is hardly an option. Our celebrities over here get drawn away from their families by the fame. But they always find a way to reconnect and spend quality time together. Phyno has just done it. The East-born rapper made to share pictures of himself, his mom, and his brother hanging out together. They sure had fun! Nice one!
