Pastor holds cutlass in a bid to 'deal with the devil'

 - The photo of an ‘aggressive’ pastor praying with cutlass has gone viral 

- The man of God made cutlass his praying mantle as he prayed in the church 

An unidentified pastor was seen praying with cutlass in a picture. Men of God have devised different methods of praying as they use different objects as mantles based on the ‘revelations’ they receive. 

In this case, people are spooked after the black pastor wielded cutlass in the church while ministering. Some members of the congregation standing close to the pulpit also held cutlasses in hand as they prayed.

 Some pastors and their church members prefer to pray in ways considered weird by other people. Many people shared the belief that the pastor held the cutlass so as to ‘deal with the devil’. Some also questioned how far people need to go when praying.

 Nigerians are used to handkerchiefs and anointing oils, however, holding the cutlass while in church is a far cry from what they are used to. It should be recalled that reports were made about a female pastor of the Omega Fire Ministries who preached while holding cane in her hand to chase the devil.
